Request a place in the First World War casualty beta
For Beta V1, Their War is deliberately concentrating on British/Commonwealth First World War personnel who died while serving. These cases usually have stronger casualty and commemoration records, which lets us test whether the complete research-and-story experience is reliable before widening the product. Sending this form does not start paid research or create a customer account; it gives the operator enough information to review whether the case fits this beta. If accepted, this same request is used to create your Family Access — there is no second registration form.
What happens next?
- We check the casualty anchor. We first confirm that the case fits the First World War died-in-service beta and look for strong casualty or commemoration evidence.
- We send your private Family Access link.If the request fits the pilot, we create access from this request and send you a private link. There is no password, participant code or second registration step.
- Find starts with casualty and military evidence.Once invited, Their War identifies credible casualty candidates and explains what matches and what remains uncertain before deeper research is considered.
- The identity is confirmed or the case stops honestly.During validation, a case proceeds only when the evidence is strong enough. If it is not, Their War must say so rather than guess.
